My history with drawing goes all the way back to when I was a kid! — but loving it didn’t start that way. I’ll be real: When I was younger I was very much admittedly…an attention seeker. People liked my art and that’s what pulled me to draw. That’s what made me keep going. But as time went on I started to see myself go stagnant. I didn’t have that passion for drawing itself, I didn’t receive nearly the attention I wanted — and honestly, it just wasn’t EASY enough. I know, what kind of artist is this?! …but as time went on with me switching from writing to drawing to doing this or that, lost in some void…with some encouragement, I finally decided “I’m going to do this and I’m going to be serious!” I pushed myself to work hard — to care about each line I drew, to draw not because I thought others would like it, but because I wanted to — and because every piece I finished made me proud of my hard work! It was then things started to change. Of course, all the support I got as I started posting again really encouraged me too…but in the end it’s not the popularity that gave me the passion and motivation to do what I want to do today. It wasn’t until I fully came to appreciate the very art of creating itself did I start to feel a passion for what we call art — and now…I really don’t ever wanna stop!

After all, you are your closest friend, and along the way you’ll be surprised who will appear and accept the real you! With that in mind, for my art I’d simply love if people can enjoy it whether it’s beautiful to them or even ridiculously bad! I do it because it gives me joy, and…
